Service Disruptions due to COVID19 Pandemic

The ongoing COVID19 Pandemic and the rampant spread of the Omicron Variant has affected all of us including Augusta Transit bus operators and staff. Due to unforeseen circumstances, route and service disruptions can be expected during the month of January 2022.

In order to prepare for any unforeseen route or schedule changes, passengers on all Augusta Transit, Paratransit and Richmond Transit may face delays, increased wait times or routes may be suspended at any time.

For specific route or schedule changes as, they occur please call:

· Fixed route (Broad Street Transfer Facility) (706) 821-1719

· Paratransit (706) 821-1819

· Richmond Transit (706) 821-1497

For the foreseeable future Augusta Transit must continue to enforce mask wearing on buses in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Such measures are necessary to ensure the health and safety of our passengers, vulnerable users, bus operators and staff.

We apologize for any inconvenience as we navigate the changes brought by the COVID-19 Pandemic on transit service and operations.

Augusta Transit is committed in its role to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors in Richmond County through the provision of sustainable and safe transit services.
